    As we do not have staff, all works at HKLS are done by volunteers. Our office is open when there is an event or work shop.

    There are four ways at present to buy our books:

    1) at our office when it is open though it is irregular and is on the week days. Do check our office opening day under the Activities column;

    2) by SF courier; The cost will be borne by yourself. Normally, it will around $30 to $60 depending when you live. If you wish to buy through
    courier, please let us know at, what books you wish to buy, your delivery address and phone number, whether you have people to collect at the address or you can pick up at SF collecting station. We will then advise you the cost before we proceed to send to you;

    3) at Hong Kong Bird Watching Club or Greenpower and

    4) at events like Hong Kong Book Fair and at Flowers, Birds, Insects and Fishes Exhibition at Fanling during Christmas.

    Thanks for your interest.

    Hello! How are you!

    I just watched the TV program by RTHK about butterfly. It is great and informative.

    My name Nigel and I make indie videos. And I wanna share my video about a butterfly’s birth with you guys. It was such a great experience to watch its birth. I cried when I saw it flying away to the sky. feeling the LIFE, very stunning!

    It’s great that you guys are so passionate on butterfly and keep on sharing everything about butterfly to the public, good job! keep it up!

    I photoed a butterfly in Fung Yuen and cannot ID it after going through some of the books about butterflies of HK. How could I submit a photo for your identification?
