HKLS Open day / Caritas Tuen Mun Marden Foundation Secondary School

Time :  5th July 2012   start at  2.00pm

There will be lecture, discussion and specimens viewing for the students. The venue will be in English and Chinese due the bulk of the students are of minority groups.

The domain hkls-forum.org is going to expire in April. While the existing forum was constructed with old version of phpBB software and a number of extra plug-ins, there were difficulties in the maintenance. Thus, we chose to start a new forum under the domain hkbutterfly.org. Please register at the new forum as soon as possible.

A) Volunteers wanted to inventorise our library books

HKLS has a vast collection of books and papers. We need to keep records, sort, label and upload the details of all books & papers onto our website.

B) Volunteers wanted to prepare specimen boxes

As HKLS decided to have our donated collections opened for public viewing, volunteers are needed to assist in preparing, sorting and labeling specimens and fumigating specimen boxes.

If you would like to assist, please send us an email at butterflynut56@gmail.com for your details including your contact numbers.

There will be instructions provided. The work can be carried out at any time depending on our volunteers. Non-members are welcome too.

A) 招募盤存書庫的義工

香港鱗翅目學會擁有為數不少的書籍及論文。我們需要義工協助紀錄、排序、標籤及上載有關資訊至本會網站。

B)招募準備標本箱的義工

由於本會決定將捐贈得來之標本開放予公眾欣賞，我們需要義工協助整理標本及標本箱。

我們會向義工提供作業指導。工作基本上可於任何時間進行，我們可按義工本身的情況作出安排. 歡迎非會員參與。
